"I Don't Wanna Get Hurt" is a song written and produced by Stock Aitken Waterman.

Performed by Donna Summer, it was the second single to be lifted from her "Another Place And Time" album.

The song was remixed for it's single release and followed it's predecessor, "This Time I Know It's For Real" by becoming another top 10 hit.

Released in May 1989 the song entered the chart at #19 and peaked at #7 the following week, spending a total of 9 weeks on the chart.

The song also hit the top 40 of charts in Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland and Spain.
