Song / Only You

John Alford / Only You

"Only You (And You Alone)" (often shortened to "Only You") is a pop song composed by Buck Ram. It was originally recorded by The Platters with lead vocals by Tony Williams in 1955 and became a major hit.

Artists such as Reba McEntire, Roy Orbison, Little Richard and Ringo Starr have all covered the song.

In 1996 John Alford recorded his version and was released as a double A single with Blue Moon. The single reached number 9 in the UK and was included on his debut album, John Alford.
