"Word Is Out" is a 1991 song written by English duo Stock and Waterman for Kylie Minogue's fourth album Let's Get to It (1991). Produced by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, it was released as the first single from Minogue's album Let's Get to It. 

The song was a top twenty hit in the United Kingdom, reaching number sixteen which ended Minogue's run of 13 consecutive UK top 10 hits. In Australia, with the more laid back Summer Breeze Mix as the main mix, it peaked at number ten, becoming Minogue's tenth single to chart within the top ten. It also reached the top 10 in Ireland.
